UAE flays Houthi attempt to target Saudi Arabia

Abu Dhabi / WAM

The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias’ attempt to target civilian areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with six bomb-laden UAVs that were intercepted by the Coalition Forces.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasised that the recent increase in Houthi terrorist attacks against the Kingdom is a dangerous
escalation.

The statement also renewed the country’s full solidarity with the Kingdom against these terrorist attacks against civilians and every threat to its security and stability, as well as its support for all measures taken to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.

The statement also stressed that the security of the UAE and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.

It indicated that the continuation of these attacks reflects the danger facing the region from the Houthi coup, and deemed it new evidence of these militias’ aim to undermine security and stability in the region.
